Session Description

Maybe you’ve already taken our ASL Level 3 course and feel confident to move up to Level 4. This class is for YOU! Do you want to learn how to better interact with your Deaf friends and family? Are you interested in acquiring a skill that will allow you to communicate with the Deaf community in any setting? Join us for our ASL Level 4 class! This class is designed for beginner students who have some experience with ASL. You will learn basic vocabulary and phrases that will help get you started on the path towards true fluency! In Level 4, the topics that we will cover are: a more in-depth look at Deaf culture, fingerspelling, numbers, nonmanuals, real-world orientation/directions, basic depiction/classifiers, and storytelling. You will also learn ASL syntax, how to sign in ASL word-order and practice conversational dialogues. ***Please note that if you haven’t taken our Level 1, 2, & 3 classes, please consider completing that before joining this course. Even if you took ASL classes elsewhere, it would be a GREAT refresher class for you!
